We’re really happy you found your way to us. My name is Alex, I am the owner of LAFFY STUDIOS and together with my wife, we started this business in 2025.

PASSION

This business was born out of something very personal to us: a long-standing passion my wife and I share for Japanese culture in its many forms. From classical Japanese artistry that spans centuries, to modern art forms like anime figures, and of course Japanese literature — these influences have shaped how we see art, craftsmanship, and storytelling.

REASON

After a lot of careful thought, we decided to turn that passion into something tangible. As fans and collectors ourselves, we felt there was still so much room for innovation in the world of anime figures. Many wishes, ideas, and expectations from the community remain unmet — and that realization pushed us to take the leap. With many years of experience in international trading and manufacturing behind us, starting this business felt like a natural next step.

POTENTIAL

Our partnership is a bit of a “best of both worlds” situation. My wife brings the big creative guns — bold ideas, artistic vision, and an eye for what makes a piece truly special. I focus on the more rational and structural side of things, making sure ideas can actually become reality. Between the two of us, we can handle a surprising amount on our own, but we’re also very aware that no great business is built in isolation. As soon as operations are fully up and running, we plan to grow and bring more talented people on board.

(NO-)BOUNDARIES

We focus on in-house development and design. We work closely with experienced artists and anime figure designers to bring our ideas to life, paying close attention to detail, expression, and craftsmanship. And we don’t limit ourselves to norm-conforming depictions — under our brand, you’ll find both regular SFW designs as well as NSFW creations. Art should have room to explore, after all.

BEGINNINGS

We’ve taken our time setting everything up behind the scenes, because shouting into the world without having anything to show didn’t feel right to us. That’s why we’re especially excited to share this: our very first original design figure is currently being modeled as I am writing this to you. We’ll be able to share more information very soon.
